Indonesian Cultural Club Dancers - Summer 2007Indonesian Cultural Club (ICC) was founded with the purpose of introducing Indonesian culture to Delaware, and the greater Tri-state area. Since the year 2000, our members, who are also members of the Indonesian Community in Delaware, have participated in various municipal and university sponsored events such as Newark Nite (DE), Goldey Beacom College International Night, and University of Delaware Community Day. We maintain great pride in recognizing and advancing our diverse culture, while sharing our passion for performing arts with the extended community and the world.

Our primary mission is to endeavor in multi-cultural events to promote the Indonesian culture amongst our members, as well as the general public. Our Advisory Board of Directors consists of individuals each possessing a unique background in various aspects of professional and educational development, artistic performance, and organizational leadership. We are a non-racial and non-religious club that is open to anyone who would like have fun, while learning more about the Indonesian culture. Our activities include traditional dance classes, dance performance, and conversational Bahasa Indonesia classes.

As many of us know, the backbone of a great organization is the people who put their mind, time and hard work together to make things happen.  Please spend a few minutes getting to know our Board of Directors and our dance team by clicking the links above.

Our special thanks goes to Dave Yetter for documenting our performances and also to Rob Hite for building this great website. Terima kasih.
